Senior Designer

Reporting into the Creative Director, Liquid is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Designer to join our vibrant and fast-moving studio, working on some of our most exciting accounts. 

Working as part of the design team, our ideal candidate will be instrumental in creating and developing new design concepts. Obviously - excellent working knowledge of typical software is essential. You need to know your way around Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat etc. Strong candidates will also have experience in photography, videography and animation. 

Projects will include concept creation, design and development of a broad range of communications material - from exhibitions to press and PR, signage to annual reports, and marketing collateral through to web and intranet. 

This role offers excellent opportunities within a creative agency that develops great ideas for big-named brands. 

A degree in a design discipline is desirable for this role, and minimum of 4 years' graphic design experience is essential. 

Responsibilities and objectives:

  • Design and development of a wide range of communication materials to client specifications, ensuring standards of excellence across all jobs
  • Adherence to production schedules and deadlines
  • Manage and organise project suppliers
  • Provide excellent client care and support
  • Know design trends and ensure Liquid's output is cutting edge
  • Investigate developments in design and sharing information with the Liquid team
  • Research sectors/markets for client projects
  • Act as a supervisor/team leader with junior team members when required

  • Problem solve efficiently and effectively
  • Have knowledge of the retail, food and/or fashion sector
  • Have extensive experience of working directly with clients, and where possible, managing projects
  • Be committed to continual improvement - both on a personal and company level
  • Have experience presenting and pitching to clients
