Liquid has begun to work with the video recipe website Eat the Chef and has been briefed to work on a range of projects to promote the site.

The first campaign we have created is School Cooks. Backed by Something for the Weekend’s TV Chef Simon Rimmer, School Cooks is a national schools’ competition which will teach pupils about a range of subjects. Launched only recently the competition has proved extremely popular, with hundreds of schools having already signed up to take part – and more doing so everyday.

As part of the competition schools will receive lesson plans specially devised by a panel of PSHE and Science Co-ordinators to meet the aims of the Key Stage 3 PSHE curriculum. It will culminate with the chance for a student from the school to compete in a regional and national competition to showcase all the skills that they have learnt.

“School Cooks is just the start of a series of projects that we’re very excited about working with Eat The Chef on. We’ve got a lot of ideas about how we can help build the brand and we’re looking forward to putting these ideas into practice,” said Chris Mitchell, liquid’s Managing Director.

Eatthechef.com is the first ever UK site dedicated to sharing home cookery videos, providing step-by-step cooking demonstrations. It is the brainchild of young entrepreneurs Omar Saeed and Paul Finnegan and is backed by Simon Rimmer.
