What do you do at Liquid?
As the client services manager my responsibility is to introduce liquid to all new clients and help support new opportunities with current clients. The main process for me is to take a client brief, assess how best to resolve their solution, establish a proposal and present it back to them. A successful proposal would then mean an introduction to the project management team and ensuring that all involved are fully briefed and have the resource to fulfil the brief.
What did you do before you came here?
When I moved up to the north of England I worked in a sales promotions agency in Manchester for two years, managing promotional campaigns and acquisitions for the Co-Operative, Proctor & Gamble and First Direct. Before this I lived in London and worked for Coty Beauty as a brand manager for Rimmel UK. My experience with Rimmel UK included managing product listings and promotions across independent chemists as well as managing the point of sale implementation in all UK stores (Boots, Superdrug, superstores and independents).
What type of new business opportunities gets you and the team most excited?
Opportunities where the client and liquid have a great synergy and brand ‘fit’. It’s great for the team to get the chance to work on briefs that include new opportunities and experiences for both us and them. Briefs which encompass a variety of liquid disciplines i.e. design, PR and digital are always great as they bring the whole office together.
I get the most satisfaction when I see the team working on something they enjoy and the end result is one which we are all proud of.
Why do you think Liquid has such strong relationships with their clients?
We’re an honest, hard-working agency who are very flexible in our approach and transparent in our deliverables too. This approach seems to be a ‘breath of fresh air’ for many of our clients - who appreciate the adaptability of our team and enthusiasm for all we do.
We are a friendly bunch and like to make our clients feel at ease. We want them to feel secure in the knowledge they’re in good hands.
