Last year we built a bespoke, responsive website for Willaston CE Primary School that took advantage of the latest web technologies to provide a great user experience whether viewed on desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile. Recently we were asked to design and build a website for Neston ITT Primary and Secondary Partnership, an alliance of schools - including Willaston - working with the University of Chester to deliver School Direct Initial Teaching.

Being familiar with the Willaston site, they were keen to replicate the seamless cross-device experience, but needed the site to be built both quickly and with a low budget. To achieve this, we opted to  use our in-house content management system in combination with a front-end built using Bootstrap - a framework for developing compatible responsive websites. Bootstrap is increasingly popular with the developer community, as it includes a raft of widely used features and components that streamline the development of responsive websites.

In less time than it would normally take for standard fixed width website, we built and tested a fully responsive site with content that fluidly adapts to perfectly fit whatever screen it's viewed upon. We therefore had time to spend on great additonal featues, such as the custom Google map showing the locations of the partnership's schools across the Wirral.

Take a look at the website and see for yourself - top quality websites no longer need to cost the earth and take an age!
