What do I do?
I’m a Designer at Liquid, which basically means that I take clients’ words and ideas, bat them around a bit until a light bulb goes on, and then create something pretty. Obviously there’s a little more to it than that but that’s the basics. My passion lies in branding and I’ve already been involved in some exciting projects since joining, including the rebrand of the Clothes Show (now British Style Collective) as it takes up it’s new residency in the city, so all exciting stuff and I’m looking forward to seeing what else is in store.
What did you do before joining Liquid?
I left uni in 2010 and went straight on to work at another creative agency where I worked for over 5 years, working with clients such as Liverpool ONE, Merseyrail, The Jockey Club and Westinghouse Solar, before making the leap to go freelance. I started working with Liquid pretty much straight away… So much in fact that we decided that we should probably just make it official.
What do you do when you're not at Liquid?
When I’m not at Liquid, I’m usually fishing…or thinking about fishing. I run my own angling brand; ‘On The Beaten Track’ (OTBT for short) for which I run my own clothing line, a video diary and like to experiment with photography and video. It’s basically my own creative playground where I just play with ideas with complete creative freedom. There’s always crossovers too, so sometimes I have ideas or discover something new that can be brought into something I’m working on at Liquid, so it always keeps things moving forward.
