Liquid has created a microsite for ASICS SportStyle. ASICS, traditionally seen as a sports performance brand, have launched SportStyle to re-release original 80s and 90s running shoes for the fashion market.

Liquid were briefed with creating a microsite which would showcase this new brand and communicate its key messages. As the SportStyle brand is all about taking inspiration from the 80s and 90s, the website focused on re-launching the classic styles that helped make the ASICS name famous. The underlying message of the site and the ASICS SportStyle brand is that even though it’s now 2009 these timeless trainers remain as relevant now as they were 20 years ago, but perhaps to a different audience. This idea is reinforced by the strapline ‘Timeless Innovation’, which powerfully conveys what SportStyle is about.

The website’s dynamic flash userface also allows customers to interact with the site, browsing the latest range of trainers as well as classic adverts from the ASICS archives.

The creation of the microsite follows liquid’s work on the SportStyle brand which has included press advertising, leaflets and POS for stores including Size?, Office and Offspring.
