This time of year is always a good time to take stock so this is a look back at the last year, which for us has been filled with exciting projects and great marketing challenges.

Some of the highs and lows of the year have come from the unlikely source of our office fish tank. We’ve seen a few not last the distance, we’ve played spot the virtually invisible baby fish and we’ve watched chief fish Vader go from strength to strength. Our own little reminder of the circle of life...

Outside the fish tank the year kicked off in style with the launch of a new campaign to promote Warburtons Half and Half loaf. It was great to see the packaging we designed appearing on national television.

Spring saw one of the projects closest to our hearts coming to fruition with the JB Leitch LLP rebrand and website launch. It was a great project to work on as the client, a property law firm, gave us the freedom to be creative as possible to help them stand out from the crowd. The results of the rebrand, which we’re really proud of, can be seen here:

Awards success came from one of this year’s most entertaining campaigns for bra retailer Bravissimo. Tasked with raising the profile of Bravissimo’s excellent fitting service we came up with the idea of Boob School, which educated women on the most common bra faux pas. The results of the campaign can be seen here:

In the summer we were lucky enough to work on the branding for Layla Brasserie at the forthcoming Doubletree by Hilton hotel. The much-anticipated new eaterie is Liquid’s old friend Simon Rimmer’s first foray into the Liverpool restaurant scene. To see the work, inspired by summery peonies, go to

Other big projects in 2013 included a major B2B campaign for Grosvenor to attract high profile retailers to the Liverpool ONE development, branding and marketing for a major conference at the Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital and a postgraduate brand for Liverpool Hope University.

We’re looking forward to working more with our new clients in the new year such as contractor organisation Sterling, innovative ground transportation company and Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
